Phoenix Tattoo & Wellness is a professional, fully licensed Rhode Island studio built on structure, consistency, and respect for the craft. We opened in 2014 and have a steady client base. We maintain a clean, fun, organized, drama-free environment where artists are expected to uphold high professional standards. While what artists choose to do in their personal time is their own business, all artists must arrive alert, focused, and fully capable of providing safe, high-quality work. Drug (this includes marijuana) or alcohol use is not permitted within the studio. Our clients trust us with their bodies, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Artist Structure.
Phoenix Tattoo & Wellness offers two working structures within the studio:
Percentage Split
Private Room Rental
Each option reflects a different level of studio support and artist independence while maintaining the shop's professional standards and environment. The available room is a private room on the second floor of the shop, but we do have rooms available for use for anyone with mobility issues, client-wise.
ALL Incoming Artist Requirements
Minimum of two years professional tattooing experience required.
Artists must maintain all required licensing and follow Rhode Island health and safety regulations.
***Apprenticeship time does not count toward this experience requirement***
Studio Amenities and Shared Operations
Full kitchen and break room accessible to all artists
Kitchen includes full appliances and everyday essentials for day-to-day use
Comfortable shared space designed for breaks and meals during the workday.
All client paperwork is processed through the front desk to maintain consistency and compliance.
Both 50/50 split artists and room rental artists have access to the receptionist for assistance with client waiver forms and other documentation when needed.
