Room Rental
Room Rentals are designed for established tattoo artists who operate independently and prefer full control over their schedule, pricing, and client flow while working in a professional studio environment.
Rental artists retain 100% of their earnings and pay a flat weekly or monthly rental fee. There are no commission splits and no percentage increases, as this structure reflects full autonomy rather than a growth-based commission model.
This position does not require full-time availability. Artists determine their own schedule, as long as they adhere to the shop's business hours and pace, maintain professional standards, comply with shop policies, and uphold the studio's integrity.

What Phoenix Tattoo  Provides
  • Private room/studio space within the facility
    • Includes client chair and toolbox
    • Television and speakers
    • Freedom to personalize and decorate your space to reflect your style
***Please note: painting, structural changes, or permanent alterations to walls or fixtures are not permitted.***

  • ALL Utilities and access to shared areas
  • Provides limited supplies
    • Paper towels
    • Gloves
  • Cavicide and basic sanitation products. 
  • SHARPS containers provided and disposal
  • Access to the studio autoclave and ultrasonic if needed, 
    • including proper sterilization bags
  • Professional studio environment and front desk presence

Walk-In Policy for Room Rental Artists
Walk-ins and same-day availability requests are directed first to artists working under the 50/50 split structure. Room rental artists may receive walk-ins only when a client specifically requests them or when otherwise arranged.

Artist Responsibilities
  • Artists maintain professional standards with colleagues and clients

  • Rental Artists supply their own tattoo machines, needles, inks, and primary working materials not provided by the shop.
  • Rental Artists manage their own pricing, scheduling, and client flow independently at a greater level of independence
    • ALL artists must adhere to the shop minimum, $100.
  • Artists are responsible for their own taxes and business operations under the sublease agreement.
